Dr. Murry was born in Seattle, Washington in 1958 and grew up on the west coast. He graduated from Western New England College with a biology degree. He also recieved a degree of Osteopathy from The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He came into practice in Portland in 1997 following Otolaryngology training at Detroit Children's Hospital, MI.

He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology  / Head & Neck Surgery and has appointments to the staff at The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Maine Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, Stephen's Memorial Hospital, and Southern Maine Medical Center.

Professional organizations include The Maine Osteopathic Association, The American Osteopathic Association, The Maine Medical Association, The New England Otolaryngological Society, and The American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery.

He is on the teaching faculty of The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Special interests include Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery, Pediatric Airway, Snoring Surgery, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

He joined Head & Neck Surgical Associates in early 1997. Dr. Murry and his wife and 3 children live locally and enjoy many outdoor activities.
