Dr. Roediger was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1943 and grew up in New Jersey. He graduated from Duke with an engineering degree and from Cornell Medical College. Following Otolaryngology training in San Francisco, CA and 2 years in the United States Navy as a General Medical Officer, he came to practice in Portland in 1976.

He is Board Certified in Otolaryngoloy  / Head & Neck Surgery and has appointments to the staff at Maine Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, and Southern Maine Medical Center. Professional organizations include The Maine Medical Association, The New England Otolaryngological Society, and The American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery.

He is on the teaching faculty of The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and The University of Vermont College of Medicine.

He joined Head & Neck Surgical Associates in early 2000. Dr. Roediger and his wife along with their two sons live locally and enjoy many outdoor activities.
