  • Fatigue
  • Runny nose/sore throat/headache

*Definition of close contact:

  • Caring for a sick person
  • Being within 6 feet of a sick person for about 10 minutes, OR
  • Being in direct contact with secretions from a sick person (i.e. being coughed on, kissing, sharing utensils, etc.)

If YES to any of the questions above:

  • If you had any recent sick contacts, please schedule for at least 14 days from last exposure to sick contact & you must be without respiratory symptoms and fever for 14 days.
  • We are committed to our sick patients, but ask that you refrain from visiting our clinics if you have answered yes to any of the above. Even mild symptoms for one could cause significant health problems for our older patients or those with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and/or immunodeficiencies. Due to shortages of protective medical equipment, we cannot safely obtain samples to test for COVID-19 or see sick patients in clinic. We have also temporarily removed toys and magazines from our playrooms, waiting rooms, and exam rooms.

If you are an asthma patient, please Click Here to learn more about what you need to know to be safe during the outbreak.
